USCRBC Meets with Minister of Foreign Affairs

On September 15, the US-Costa Rica Business Council (USCRBC) had the opportunity to meet with Manuel Tovar, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Costa Rica, on his recent visit to Washington, D.C. We were also joined by the newly arrived Ambassador of Costa Rica to the U.S., Douglas Soto, as well as Isabella Cascarano, Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Western Hemisphere at the International Trade Administration. It was a valuable opportunity to learn about the priorities and policy approaches of the new Costa Rican Government, as well as to discuss avenues for further strengthening the US-Costa Rican bilateral relationship.
